Yea the plants are a filler for that side of the tank.. basically just extras I had laying around..
The tank is 48x18x13 and the wolf fish is a tad over 8"...

very hard to tell except during breeding.
and best way to breed them is grow up a group of small ones together.
they will breed at 6 inches.

Here my update on my greedy wolf.
It is more 8" +
i got a red thats 6 inch big no pic yet but sooon i will show only had him 4 moths from 3 to 6 hes a pig
Ok.. here is a pic from tonight. The other pics were a couple weeks old. You can see his a pig
He's also starting to get some faint blue streaks through his body. Look where his back starts to slope up, just under that you can kind of make out the blue in the pic.
