Please rate my Golden Base Flowerhorn. It is close to a year old. I feed it with Humpy Head.

Fish look nice but tank too small and bare tank make your fish look less value and less respect to the owner, it should deserve something better!
Note: Not all bare tank look bad but certain species look good in bare tank and it's not Flowerhorn :P.

Thank you for your honest opinion. :)
The tank size is 30 inches x 30 inches x 24 inches. I think its quite standard though. But never the less, in case of fish, the bigger is obviously better!! :P
As for the bare bottom, its coz FH are known to get injured by rubbing their body against the substrate. One of my FHs got injured in this very same way!! :/
After that I prefer not to use substrate and keep my tank bare when it comes to my FHs. ;)
 
Since your tank is bare or full of rocks, you wanna put some wood in for all these fish. Or they have the black water tannin at the store. Gets tap water closer to real water fish prefer.
