i will know as soon as she comes in, I trust rainny and his quality of fish. I do see what you mean though on the first photo how the red is kind of blotched, i don't see it in the second pic though. but I have been assured that it is the actual color. I just hope my fish at home are ok, I am going nuts right now hoping and praying that they will be fine. I am on vacation until the 1st and I gave them the vacation food so we will see.

i have actually become pretty good friends with pat, and he is a great guy. he is helping me find the fish i want atm. awesome fish, i don't thinks its photo shopped, lighting is a huge part of it though. i was looking for a fish just like this one lol

I assure you it has not been photoshopped.

I can assure you it is:D
I NEVER jump to conclusions without 100% proofs.

Check this picture of the female you posted. Now.... look at that suction cup divider colors.

Another proof:

Killergx001 bought this SRT other than lighting which helps a little, but should be almost similar

Same SRT in Killergx001's tank:

In conclusion, it IS photoshopped.

The fish has to be somewhat RED to make it even redder looking by doing simple photoshop fiddling with the contrast. The fish will be red in person, but nothing as red as shown in pics. It took a LOT of fiddling with photoshop to make the suction cups like that deep blue color from a light aqua greenish/blue color.

Besides....... let's face it, if the color was really that red, it wouldn't be $250-$300. They aren't dumb. If a fish is really nice looking and price is low by the usual oversea vendors, there's usually a catch, picture is old and the fish no longer look like that, or it's been photoshopped very well. You just gatta "un-photoshop" sometimes to see the actual colors and decide on whether you like the fish or not. Just don't trust the colors you see will be the actual color in person.

Not trying to hate or anything, but if I just say "it's photoshopped", people tend to think I am a hater with no proof just running my mouth. Here's my proof to back myself up. I NEVER BS or just talk without proofs. You said you can "assure" me it's not photoshopped............ care to proove yourself right for me like how I did it here? again, not to start anything but I just want to hear your opinion.

Actually the suction cup thing is what gave it away to me too. I've darkened enough pics in photoshop to know you can darken a pic to increase the brightness of the subject but it also makes surrounding things darker.

But I'm not hatin. Just saying "Hey it might not be what it seems.." Either way though we shall find out when it comes in.

I PS'd Killer's real quick to see if anyone can see how easy it is..

He's one of my personal favorite seller and also a very reputable seller. But it's not that. He does photoshop, heck just about everyone on there does and those people who do buy fish are also aware of it, and they actually see the "real" colors of them by seeing the photoshopped pics and get them. high ratings doesn't mean they don't use photoshop:ROFL: Is there a rule like that?:grinno:

i dont know what your talking about but i know people locally who sell on there and do not use photoshop so dont say everyone uses it on there and yes if i bought a fish and it came in and never displayed the colors from the picture your dam right id leave negative feedback and so would alot of other people. if he is photoshopping it and you know him and dont say anything there your part of the problem as well.
