Well, the story I heard is Columbia and Brazil are in dispute/negotiation right now about aros in general. The story is aros raise their babies in Columbia, and the young fishes migrate downstream to Brazil where they grow/mature. When time to mate, the mature fishes would swim upstream toward Columbia to spawn. Brazilians are complaining that columbians are killing too many parent fishes to get theirs fries, and fewer fishes are coming down to Brazil (where they're staple food), in turn Columbians complaint that brazilians are eating too many mature fishes that not many of them are coming back to Columbia (Aros are not staple food for columbians, they only kill the fish for the fries). That's all I heard, should be more to the story.
