Please sex my Dovii

Took a short video clip today of my dovii. Reason I think mine is female is the yellow hue its been showing lately since I added a Managuense to the tank last week. I'm not sure of the sex of the jag either could be male..

I think your dovii is bigger than 7" mine would be a feeder to yours lol and I think you are right, due to its size and lack of spots, as well as the barring below the laterial line and the yellow/golden hue, I would have to agree and say its a female. She is a beauty though with a lot of nice blue and green.

I think your Jag is a female as well

My Giants I visted my LFS and was supprised that they had more dovii's in stock, they were all smaller than my current dovii at around 2- 3 inches. I ended up taking home one that I belive would have to be a male due to its colour and already spots and pointed fins.

If there were lots of them in one tank if you just observe them awhile. A lot of times the most biggest most dominating one in the tank more likely is a male.

just posted a pic of my new dovii what do you think? Its about 2-3 inches and he was the biggest and most dominant in the tank and already showing spots. Compared to the bigger one I originally posted I think my new one is a male and my other one is a female.

Looks like you picked a nice one you got a great chance it is a male since you got to pick him from a tank that had lots of them together.

Here's a video my pair, you can see the color and shape difference. Your water is a little murky, so I could be wrong but i want to say your dovii is female. Your jag looks male to me, hope this helps.
