I would say she is holding also, look at the jaw dropped and the color in the mouth. 45.00 is way to steep, although I do not raise them I can get them wild for 18.00. It only takes about 10 minutes for a fish to spawn, if she was in a tank by herself and the water was changed regulary and with warmer water she probably was ripe and was just waiting for a male to be introduced. I do that with all my females after I have pulled babies they go in a ten by themselves and I hit them with water changes until they are ripe again and them they go back in with the male.

and yes as long as it is a decent price and not a rip off.. a little steep is okay.. high end of steep is not.. this one in picture is about 3 inches..maybe too young to tell yet..thanks !!!!

Oops sorry I didn't see that he was six inches.. That is only double what we pay for that size and quality here...
