Please sex this Victorian Hap

sorry for the blurry pic. she's on top . they got freaked out when i forgot to turn off the flash and lost almost all their color. you cant really tell from the pic but the female does have an egg spot and i think shes holding again .she just had fry 3 weeks ago and i have them in a 10 gallon by themselves .

Im not a vic person but i would be thinking its sub domimant and has sub dom coloring. Its also very young by the look of it so with time it should color up more. Have you considered putting them in a tank by themselves where they would be the dominant fish and see if the male will color up ?

That is so cool you have fry...Good job and even with your first attempt!!! I can see the egg spot also. I have some females that have egg spots too.

I think she is holding.. and she is sweet.. thanks for the pic... i am surprised that females have alot of color too...

no sorry . i wasn't saying my female had color just an egg spot . dont want to confuse you . hell im confused about vics myself .haha... i am confused too... but i was just surprised to see that much color on your female ..usually they are really dull...

i already have one male with another male.. and i know the less colored one is the sub dominant.. and i did not want to add still another male.. thought maybe then they would fight.. these two males so far get along great.. but i wanted a female so i am still on the prowl..thats when trouble may begin.. and i will have to separate.

Might be an idea to get 3 or 4 females, make a harem. Vics do well as harem breeders.

thanks ..if i am lucky enough to find females... i just don't want any more males:D:Dof course i would take them all but no where to put them..:D
