Yep. Females can have varying amounts of blue on the face. Males won't have any.

Your pics are making it hard. Those pics don't look like the fish in the original pic which made me say male.

This is what a female chin looks like. Males don't really have anything there. If your fish is missing the blue like the fish I have pictured then it is male. Else female.
