Also, the one about PetSmart is false as well. I work at Petco, and we do the EXACT same thing. Wanna know what really goes on behind those doors? We get a sick animal, we take it to the vet. I have taken 2 dollar feeder mice to the vet, for a 150 dollar bill, to take back to the wellness room, and nurse them back to health. Then they go back on the floor TO BE SOLD FOR 2 DOLLARS.

Take a close look at the sheets hanging up next to each of the cages that girl is standing by. They are caresheets. Every animal in the wellness area is required to be checked at open and close. The person who checks the animal also initials on that sheet, signing that they gave it food, water, and medicine. PetSmart and Petco are not to blame. The lazy asses who work their are too blame.

They did that when I was working at petsmart. I thought it was stupid to spend so much money on a cheap damn rodent. That $150 could have gone MUCH further if given to a needy family.

very sorry i have to close this thread... it touches my heart in all ways ..and i am for anything and anyone that will help stop this abuse.. its a shame but these threads constantly turn into a flaming argumentive thread..
