Where Palm Trees Grow
I was trying to get my Silver Aro to eat lately since he did not eat since I've had him so I put some baby Lizards I found in the yard in the tank and he struck at them as soon as they hit the water, He has had two now and I actually got him to eat pellets after the first lizard, Is it ok to give him lizards every once and awhile?

I would be careful. If the lizard is already dead then maybe it ate some incestide or poison. This can transfer to your fish.

hey killdog.. stick to the pellets mate.. prob a treat once in a while.. but dont just pick em up from the yard or garden.. just pop in a few goldfish like once a month.. cant you buy crickets from any online store or meal worms?

Yeah it was just a one time thing tho.

Why do you have an Aro in a 30 gallon tank??? Your 55 is extremely over crowded as well. You have several fish in there that will reach over a foot easily. I think the lizard is the least of your worries.

Clearly you are the only person that does not know that I'm getting a 125g, I've already got a deal sealed with a guy on CL.

I still don't believe a 125 is going to be large enough for a grown aro. He will grow faster than you think. A 125 will be good for your Managuense and Senegal. I'm not trying to get into a pissing contest with you. It will do no good. This right here is why I refuse to post and have waited so long to join this forum. There is alot of good information and good people on here, but there are also people who refuse to listen to the advice they are given. It just rather irratating to watch people be irresponsible with the care of their fish and get in way over their heads.
