so do youthink its ready for fish? It has atleast 25 gallons from my old tank and my old filter and cartridges .
Probably not.

I would add just enough ammonia every morning to achieve 3 ppm until your BB are able to convert this in 24 hours.
For example:
add the ammonia at 8 AM. The actual time is not important, just do it the same time every day.
test for ammonia the next morning at 8 AM. If the reading is ZERO you are ready to test for nitrIte. If you test for nitrIte and the reading is ZERO, You are ready for a w/c and fish.
If the ammonia/nitrIte is NOT zero, add just enough ammonia to get up to 3 ppm again.
Repeat this every morning until you get a ZERO reading for ammonia/ nitrIte.
At that point test for nitrAte. Do a water change large enough to get below 10 ppm and you are ready for fish.
The above is a 'basic' implementation of "Fishless Cycling"
It is a simple process and given that you have introduced seeded filter media shouldn't take very long.

On the other hand you can just add fish and take your chances.
I just don't choose to take my chances at the expense of the fish I keep.
This doesn't make the other opinions you have been given wrong, but at some point you have to choose a direction.

your tank is ready to go. u added about 30 gals of cycled water and u are using the filters from your 30 gal tank. your good to go. screw all that other bs.
Ummm, I really hope you're a troll.

Just because he added water from another tank doesn't mean he's cycled. The BB lives on surfaces, not just in the water, so he would have to transfer some of the substrate or decor from his other tank to even introduce a decent amount of BB

if it was my tank I would have fish in it now. I would not stock it fully to what the tank can handle but to stock it in the neighborhood of what was in the 30g should be fine. then adding fish as you go along. keep an eye on your test results and if things change then wait it out. you have introduced BB and if they don't get fed they will die. did you just move the old filter over from the 30g? is there any other filtration added to the new tank? what are you using for a filter?
