wow guys thanks for all the help 
i think the first one is looking a lot like Panaque albomaculatus.
the second one is the brevis
the third one i think is L263
the last one definately looks like L137.
ill try and get better pics of 1+3 to help but i judging from the pictures on planet catfish i think ive got the right ones stated above.

Not all plecs have L numbers associated with them (like the bulldog Chaetostoma). If you can take a picture of the mouth, that will help for plec #3. Leporacanthicus have "frilly" lips, where the Chaetostoma doesn't.
mine definately has frilly lips., i think its the leporacanthicus.
ive already got these guys in a temporary 55g before they go into my 100. when i get the 100, how many other l numbers could i add? is there a limit as to how many you could put in? i intend to furnish the tank with loads of bogwood and caves.
