thats not bad!!

yeah, but you've got to find them first . . . I'm in Florida, you're in Wyoming, so I'm thinkng it might be a bit harder for you . . . maybe your LFS can help you out

well i was going to talk to my lfs and see if they could order me a couple. if they are a decent price, i ordered silver datnoids through him, and it took 2 months for them to find them, but they found em' and i have em'

keep in mind that they need fairly cold water! 20-24°C

three bucks!! Holy Cow! They had one for sale for TEN DOLLARS at the pet store here...what a rip off lol Its a small town so im thinking thats why. They had it listed as a rubber nose pleco. Neat looking though

actually, they adapt quite nicely . . . I keep them in water temps ranging from 24-27°C (75-81°F) with zero problems . . .

maybe if you wanted to breed them, lower temps might help . . .

Ten bucks is a fine price for any pleco. The cheapest around here are commons and I think they can go as low as five dollars. If I could get a chaeostoma for $3 I'd buy the whole lot and resell for profit.

lol well i threw the bristelnose in there for now till i get a better looking one, but for now its fine. he's about 2" in my 125 gallon. i've been watching aquascape for plecos cause i know he's go some good ones. i also threw in another catfish and a super large loach. i have plenty of hiding spaces so no conflicts yet.

so it might be the stupidest thing i've done to date, but i have introduced snails along with the bristlenose, and the loach. but i want a tiny eco system going, my tank is all natural, and the snails give it a little bit of an edge.

any ideas on this matter?
