Yeah. If you're lucky the snails will set up shop in your filtration and make free food for you. I've got snails and snail eaters in all my tanks. The snails hide in the gravel, in the filter boxes, etc. Once they get too big to hide they become food. I have never had the dreaded snail explosion people talk about.
i have had it happen, but only in tanks that the fish couldn't eat the snails. i hope there is a steady population but not to much in the tank.
i was gonna say 5-10 cory cats but......... maybe sumthing like a sailfin pleco or, well... anything you like!! go to a petstore and they will have tons of algae eating fish.
i only have petco, and i have some large cichlids and catfish. i have some parachromis, and a tsn growout.
