your next question is what type of bristlenose? Super Red, Brown, albino, green dragon, L144, pineapple, lemon drop, or red marble? then do you want long or short fin

Uh probably a common or brown bristlenose. This is my first pleco other than the common pleco so I don't wanna invest too much. It'd be ideal if I could find a long fin as I like the long fins but I'll accept any as of now

the nice things about bristlenose with the exception of the long fin super reds they are pretty cheap
Yeah it's a blessing on my wallet, looking at a common long fin rn, small for 5.49 I can order and pick it up at local lfs

I'm lucky I know a breeder who sells wholesale. Thats where I got my l144s for $4, my green dragons for $5, my short fin super reds for $7, my shortfin red marble pair for $25

Damn that's a nice deal you are lucky. Ok question does driftwood type matter?

Aight sounds good I just ordered a small piece of Malaysian driftwood and after school tommorow imma place an order on that pleco. So for driftwood is says soak for 2 weeks in water to remove coloration/tannin is that true for Malaysian too?
