What are the differences between purebred puppies?
a pug is a pug is a pug. A purebred pug is XXX money, why is a purebred pug from show winning parents XXXXX money? Can the laymen tell the difference? Why do people chose to pay more for the puppie from show winning dogs when they don't intend to enter into shows?
Which of these plecos would you think is more expensive? Which is prettier?
The second one has the potential of becoming this. While the first one is pretty much reached it's full potential.BTW, this guy is probably worth around $200. While a L190 of the same size is around $60. First one is L190.
This, along with the smaller second fish up top, are both L27 Xingu
This one, also a variant of L27, is worth over $700
Why $50 difference in your case? Why $$620 difference between similar sized L190 and the above L27?

I asked for mouth shot because I didn't want to disappoint you when you paid the price for L27. I, like the others, are leaning towards L190, but it maybe a L27 as well. That's why I wanted to confirm.
Hey thanks alot for responding, and taking the time to post. Im starting to understand now. I admit I am a pleco noobie, so at first glance they all seem so similar to me, excuse my lack of knowledge. I will definitely get a mouth shot. Didn't want to stress him as he just got in the tank, but I am going to do water change sunday and I will get you a pick if you will be kind enough to identify. I have no problem admiting what I paid, The pleco is approx 6in from head to tail and very thick as seen by pic. It was listed as $110 at the store, again as L027 Xingu, I paid $80 cash. I guess well find out if I got ripped or not, but like I said, I like his look alot, just want to know exactly what species /varient.
