Sailfins grow fast in my experiance. I got mine from petsmart at about 3-4 inches and put him in my 210 gallon and he is now about 8-9inches or so? Not exactly sure as i rarely see him. He hides in my huge rockwork. But when i do catch a glimpse of him he seems to be around 8-9inches. I would say i have had him for around 8 months or so... But they can easily get alot bigger.
