I may try that now... Did it sink or did you have to do something to it?

I used fishing line to tie it to the decoration in the picture, otherwise it will float. Use a toothpick to pop a hole thru the fruit first and its easier to put the string through.

Thank you :)

I've checked with my pleco species diet and they eat vegetables but have yet to see him take anything other than the wafer tabs. I've tried cucumber and zucchini, both with no luck. Only my Chocolate cichlid ate at the cucumber. I might have to try the 'rubbing garlic on the food' method.

you can boil your food in dechlorinated water so it sinks. but I would stab it on a spoo and sink it down with some fishing line... cant wait for my 75 gonna have an army of plecos. (small ones) like snowball candy stripped. love the way the little guys look and I got a fantastic piece of drift wood today from the lake

you like my wood ( no pun) it took me half an hour of sawing while balancing on logs in the lake then I mounted it on my kayak and paddled away

Uh yeah! Kickarse piece of wood there. I've been on the lookout for something just like that myself. I've found pieces close to my dream piece, but not the actual piece I'm 100% happy with yet. That piece in the picture will set off any tank!

He likes strawberries too! Just gave him one!

He's devoured more than half of it already!

(FYI - this is his wife Jen posting lol)

We are going to keep experimenting. So far, the strawberry disappeared the quickest! It's pretty much gone now.
