Pleco prices getting out of hand every where?

I didn't realize that so if someone started a business breeding fancy plecos they could make a killing.

Some lfs don't pass along the savings they received for smaller specimens along to the consumer

Supply and demand. Easily bred plecos are cheap. Ones that are difficult to breed command a high price.

Yeah I don't plan on attempting it just saying. I guess if they were easy to breed someone would have started doing it already.

luckily i live next to one of the best petco's in the country and get online prices without the shipping. so far i've gotten a blue panaque for 30, a green phantom for 36, and im getting a gold nugget in about a week for 40.
