Scientific Name(s): Pterygoplichthys pardalis, Acipenser plecostomus, Hypostomus plecostomus, Hypostomus punctatus, Liposarcus multiradiatus, Liposarcus pardalis, Plecostomus plecostomus

Common Name(s): Common Pleco, Common Plecostomus, L023

You can't tag all these together as some are very different

Hypostomus plecostomus doesn't grow past 12inches where as a Pterygoplichthys pardalis and a Liposarcus multiradiatus willl both get up to 24inches. A Hypostomus punctatus isn't even labeled as a common. Also you left Pterygoplichthys disjunctivus off the list, WHICH is sold as a common.

Sorry for the complaints

There are 2 versions of them one is a lighter color called a Snow King (hard to find) where as the darker version is sold for $2.00 at every fish store. I have had 10-15 of these in the last 20 years.

Not totally, I never knew they changed clowns from Peckoltia Vittata to Panaques(which I found out why after some research).

I suppose if it gets going this thread can be cleaned up
