Pleco Season!!!

i have a L239 been keeping for a few months now. Its quite sensitive to water changes though..
here it is..

THATS an awesome looking pleco.. i've been trying to get my lfs owner to order some for me.. i'm curious.. how does he react when he wants water change???

does it get sluggish?

Nope. It goes into hiding during water changes as most of my plecos do. After the water change, it usually hangs out around the filter output, against tge current. Its a pretty agressive pleco though. Doesnt seem to like sharing its tank with other L's. From experiece, this pleco would have been the most demanding and fragile one i have kept. Sensitive to the slightest fluctuations in water chemistry...

gotta be careful with him then....looks pretty darned expensive.
