So I lost my bulldog pleco this morning, from an overdose of dechlorinator :(

Naturally, I'll be stabilising the water and keeping a close eye before replacing him; but wanted to welcome opinions on a suitable pleco type that I could order up for arrival in the next few weeks.

Ideally it would be eye-catching, whether that's great colours or patterns; growing to a size of around 7-8 inches.

Blue phantom pleco's have caught my eye, as have gold nugget pleco's.

check out a 3 beacon pleco they get around the size you are looking for, if you want a pleco for cleaning your glass an albino bushynose is one of the best for that. i used to have a lot of differant cool plecos just got tired of paying a lot of cash for something that hides all the time.
