I'd agree with that, I find having a large number of bottom feeders (~12 plecs and 6 altifrons) allows me to chuck in plenty of food so everyone can get some, where as with 1-2 you have to try and target-feed.

Funny all I keep are Geo or other earth eaters with my plecos and I find I need to make sure the plecos don't eat their food.

Best tank mates IMO with plecos are earth eaters.

I also like keeping uaru with them.

I agree 100%. I have a pair of red hump geos and they could care less about the plecos and vice versa.

I keep Roselines, rainbows, danios and just about every central under the sun with all sorts of plecos...commons, L75's, L204's.

I also scape pretty heavily ...

I keep Oscars, and Green Severums with my Plecos in my 240, even have a 17" RTC in with them right now, my largest pleco 18" runs the tank.
