Help.
Right now ive got an 11 inch pleco that today i noticed had reddening on the end of his fins. Also the 2 fins on the front/side the first spine for some reason are shorter than the rest of the spines and it should be the opposite. Also those 2 spines look like their being eaten by something because instead of having a pointy end one sides rounded and the other side its just a flat end on its spine.
Also none of the other fishes seem to have this problem.
Hes living with.
Convict cichlid 4-5 inches
Telapia 3-4 inches
Tiger oscar 13 inches i think
Bristlenose Catfish(i think) 8 inches

Post a pic.
Sounds like it's being harassed (probably one of the cichlids; the bristlenose is another type of pleco). Do you any hiding areas/caves? That may help it avoid harassment.

well i lost my phone and cant seem to find it.but i doubt that the cichlids are harrasing it because they get out of its way whenever the pleco shows up and i have a log that hes the only that uses it.and The oscar ive had both since hte beginning so they get along fine and the convict and telapia sorta just chase each other around
oh and the Plecos fins seem to have mysteriously healed i fed him mango for the first time idk if that had anything to do with it
