I have a pleco that has recently developed a white cloudy look to his left eye. It does not protrude out, but the white is over his eye. He seems to be acting ok.. but maybe his belly is sucked in a little? I am new to plecos.. so I dunno what a skinny one looks like.. but I also have a 10 inch and he eats well. I feed them both Hikari discs, and zucchini, but the didnt like the zucchini much. so I know they eat well..

oh, and I have a convict in there.. who had the same thing happen to his eye.. same kinda look.. but it was like 2 weeks ago.. and his eye is fine now. should I worry?:chillpill:

that happened to me about a week ago with my wifes 30 gallon with a zebra pleco. seemed the ph was too low i ended up losing him . some plecos like the royals are ammonia sensitive while others are ph sensative . adjust your ph you will be ok

What are your water parameters? How often and how much do you water change? Size of tank? Filtration? Please provide more details. Cloudiness of the eyes is caused mostly by cataracts, poor water quality or infection from the wounds.
