i have twenty gallon planted tank with diy backgound and just wondering what pleco or any should i get one at all

Nice tank! I wouldn't add a pleco, but you could add a few otos if you really wanted something to help with algae (it really isn't recommended to add a fish specifically to clean algae though)
 
I agree, you don't need to add a pleco, but I do like to keep otocinclus in my planted tanks . . . you might consider adding 3 otos just to help out
