I love plecos  but they might not love each other :swear:

I have got these juvenile plecos all together atm. in 4 ft tank

2x L191 royal panaque 3.5 inch & 4.5 inch
titanic pleco (L273) 3 inch
acanthicus Adonis 3.5 inch
3.5 inch snow king pleco
2x 3.5 inch gold spot plecos
3.5 inch sailfin pleco

I know that it depends on the individual too and tank furniture aswell...
but will they co-exist ?
or will I need to buy a bigger house for all the extra tanks ;)

Sounds like a rumble in the driftwood jungle to me.. If you have enough driftwood and hiding spots it might be do-able, but your problem after that would be Bio-load.. All those plecos munchin away and fighting over any available food will have your tanks water chemistry in a bind, not to mention if the big load of driftwood releases tannins.

I say get a bigger house!

yes they produce quite a lot of poo in 24 hrs which I syphon out into standard size (9litre) bucket every day and do 25% water change every week aswell

they will probably go into a 9x2x2 I'm getting soon but any trouble makers will be sold off , except the royals and the adonis and the titanic and there will be a scarlet in there too bugger it

running aquaclear 500 and aqua pro 1500 (lph) and a sacem marathon 2000

hum im a pleco person too, all u need to do for now is make enough hidding spots for all of them and get more drift wood for them to suck on. and that should keep them happy.

Considering the plecos you have I would definitely consider a larger tank, in agreement with miles and puffer. More wood is a must especially with those two royals. The thing I would recommend if you do get another tank to split them up. By gold spots do you mean one of the Gold nuggets, or L200? If it is gold nuggets, plus the adonis, and the royals, you are going to have one heck of a rumble on your hands. Adonis will assert dominance in a tank over any other pleco, even plecos over twice their size. Because of their spines adonis generally win. They will especially pick on smaller plecos, but will also rumble with bigger boys too. Problem here is you have so many of similar sizes that your adonis will likely get into too many fights, and may get some collateral damage. I would recommend keeping him seperate for a while, unless you got lucky and got one of the more docile adonis. But those are like finding a snow aro.

thanks for the reply guys
Wyldfya the gold spot plecos I refered to are L001( Joselimaianus)$25 each :)
(L200 I wish -they're $500 here)
