thanks for the reply guys
Wyldfya the gold spot plecos I refered to are L001( Joselimaianus)$25 each :)
(L200 I wish -they're $500 here)

fishnthings it was 4.30 am :p

there is tons of tannin free wood in the tank
that 100% helped me, they had a gold spot in, which i hadnt seen before, but now i know it was the L001, (well, L022) but could only see a bit of it, and it looked very much like an L083, but that has cleared it up, and why it cost more. cheers. Also i'd say with all the hideouts, your adonis should be your only problem. You got some great plecs, hope all goes well.

:iagree: Your adonis may decide to give the other plecs a run for their money. Other than that you should be alright.

I use pieces of slate (mini "stonehinge" structures) for multiple plecos. If you can make it so that no two plecos want the same spot in the tank, there shouldn't be any probs.

yea these are good, creating cave like structures, i gotta couple, works fine, but all plecos appreciate (most anyway) a bit of bogwood

I just find malaysian wood that has cool holes, or concave bottoms to make my caves, and hiding spots for my plecos.

Great collection....

Is it weird that the only place my butterfly pleco will go is on the bottom side of a plastic flower pot?

no, not really, each pleco finds its territory and there it will stay until it finds somewhere better, or gets the boot by something more territorial. all my plecos have there own little "spot" they call home

My GNP has one spot, only comes out to eat.
