Plecos for Small Aquariums

Not quite Plecos but close, check out the Farlowella cats.

Just as much a pleco as any other Loricariidae species, except the actual plecostomus.

How about white seam plecos, or rubber nose plecos?

They both stay small, and both are cheap.

bushynose and bulldog plecos would both be good choices.

im gonna be turning my feeder holding tank 10g into a planted tank and thought about putting a pleco in there, what would be a good pleco for a 10g planted tank? im not worried about the price of the zebras if it comes down to it since i know they are mostly carnivorus

I have a Clown Pleco (Panaque maccus - L104) in my 20L. I rarely see it, perhaps because the fish in there are very active, but it does come out and eat sinking wafers, algae wafers and driftwood. Messy fish for the size though.
