they are pretty thickly armored. once they get huge, I suspect there aren't many fish that could eat them.

it sucks that these were invasive and probably messing with that eco-system... cool to see but i hope they fix it before something changes for the worse... but who knows, maybe they wont present a problem at all

cool to see but sad to think about... I just brought three more large plecos home from work today from two different customers... before long I will have a school of them I already have 16 of the commons and about 10 others.........
