There's been quite a few people who have died while diving in those caves too. I know they found a few bodies in Rock Springs, I think they found someone in Alexander Springs, and I can't even begin to tell you all the things they found in Blue Sink. That area is great for tubing and all, but it just feels too damn cold in the summer.

We just caught a pleco in south western florida. we're going back for more too.
damn things are everywhere I guess. kinda sux for the natives though.

I dove them all except for Rock Springs. Went tubing there as a kid. And it is the closest of the three. The closest public springs is Wekiva Springs but they are closed to diving because too many divers didn't make it out.

Just so everyone knows, Blue Sink is a sinkhole in the woods. The local rednecks dump all kinds of stuff in there. For a while, the local past time was steal a car and then roll it down the hill into Blue Sink. I don't remember how many are down there but the crowning achievement down there is a Cadillac. Lots of other junk like washing machines. The deepest we dove was 130 ft (ten ft past our safety limit). The bottom is hill shaped with most of the cars at the top of the hill; I don't remember the max depth.
