Pleco's keep dying

I've gone through two Plecos in the last month. I don't understand what keeps happening to them all of my other fish are very healthy and seem to be happy. I'm doing regular water changes, changing filters when needed, and vacuuming appropriately. its making me sad. Please help!

At the tankmates killing them? Are they common plecos? I do nothing special and mine are 8 & 12 years old.

They are common and the tanks mates are very docile
