I know I've heard of pleco's sucking of the slime coat of bichirs, but would a 2'' royal pleco bother, 2x, 2-3" Delhezi Bichirs, and possibly a fire eel? Also, are pleco's known to suck the slime coat off of eels?

Hey, sorry but I can only offer what experience I've had :/ hope it'll help.
The only pleco I've kept is a regular gibby pleco he's around 3.5" right now and is being housed with my P. senegalus I've never actually seen him try to latch onto/rasp my poly. But I've heard the numerous stories of plecos devouring slime coats. Each fish has it's own personality some may or may not behave as is normal of them. That said, I believe royals are herbivorous and will generally only munch on algae and wood (they love them some drift wood). Make sure to feed plenty of algae tabs (hikari are my recommended brand) and be sure to have a decent amount of driftwood for it.
As for eating the slime coat off of an eel, I haven't heard of it specifically but plecos are known for latching onto fish that are more sedentary but as I previously said the royal will probably care more for the algae wafers and wood.
Sweeet, he's in the tank now.The royals are definitely wood eaters. Shouldn't bother a poly at all.
I think most issues come up with the common plec.
