Plecos

For those who are wondering a "Rhom" refers to a piranha.
Also this is not really the right place for this discussion as we have a Piranha forum. This question has come up several times there ,and the answer seems to be "Has worked before, but if the pleco is in pieces one day do not be surprised". Seems some people have luck with shrimp and snails especially with larger piranha, and these guys honestly do a far better job of cleaning than any larger plecos while adding pretty much zero bio-load to the tank.
The real question is why do you want a pleco? If you are having algae problems there are piranha safe algae eaters. There names are water changes, feed less, and turn the lights off.
