I didn't feed my plecostamus for 3 days and I decided to try hand feeding him. He smelled the water for about 5mins looking for the location of the food. He finally krept out of his cave and i had the wafers in my hand so he started chasing everything within a foot of him. He has scars all over his body from headbutting the other plecos and missing. Once he tried to kill 1 of my smaller discus but he missed and rammed himself headfirst straight into my heater. The glass shattered instantly but I have a reliable heater with an auto shuttoff switch so I just replaced it. Then he ripped off half the suckermouth of my smaller male bushynose. I had never tried handfeeding him before. I have red suckermouth imprints with teethmarks all over my arm and he punctured my index and thumb with his gill thorn things. He was attacking me for the wafers. Suctioned onto my arm and starting biting me everywhere. And his tail was flailing everywhere. This pleco is so MEAN. I took pics of my arms but I can't upload the pictures. My mom says I might need stitches. If I do just a few probably. This happened 30 minutes ago. The pleco is 6" TL. He is a common bristlenose.

So i took my mums advice and went to the hospital the doctor said he had to amputate my arm! My mum went home to pick me some things up and to her horror she found a 6ft pleco rocking in the rocking chair smoking a pipe and playing that tune from the deliverence on the banjo!!!

He's such a troll he makes the stupidest threads then never replies anything. I see flaws in this story or he's just dumb. Why wouldn't he get rid of the pleco if it was killing everything. Why would he hand feed if it attacks everything. Why didn't he take his arm out when it first "bite" him instead of letting him attack all of his arm seems really dumb. To me. Plus if it was bleeding so much and so deep for stitches h must of just been letting him dig in his arm. Ugh children.

God I wish this site had a more robust ignore feature. Why do I even see this thread?
