,is it more of an issue of aggression between different sizes or, if the size difference is great, cannabalisim?
JD, If anything I think aggression between the pleuros would come from being a possible "threat" to one another, whether it's competing for food, claiming territory, or perhaps possibly a building bond between a pair (if housing more than just 2 pleuros?)

Pleuros never bothered or tried eating their little tankmates, which were smaller albino IR sharks, and small clown loaches. You can see in vid the pleuros go towards them, but then just back off. :)

pleuros are not as canabalistic as others , and they allow a quite wide variation of sizes in there group , but will eat MUCH smaller ones of there own kind if given the opertunity (keep the smallest one no smaller then half the size of the largest one to be safe) aggresion should not really be an issue with a group of pleuro , they stay in groups in the wild and only seperate when ready to breed , so if two decided to pair up later on , then you would have to split the group , you would be in no doubt when this happend as aggresion level will rise and most likely the pair would keep all the others in one side of the tank , but this is very unlikely to happen as pleuros have not bred or shown any real promises of breeding in aquaria as yet , a couple of people have reported very quick practice spawning but nothing further.

Nice info...
