Plexiglass aquairums?

I just picked up a new tank and im not sure if its acrylic or not cause the lady I bought it from called it plexiglass. The tank was given to her and she sold it to me. Acrylic and Plexiglass are different things but how would you tell the difference?

How many gallons is it? And i doubt it is plexiglass, unless its a diy tank.

its a 80 gallon, Its not a diy and thats what I was thinking too,

Plexiglass is the Brand name for acrylic. Like Tylenol is the brand name for acetomenophin. Yes, your tank is acrylic.

Funny how that term isn't used that much anymore. In the old days plexi glass was a big name for acrylic sheets. now everyone is using plastic from Mexico and China so the term acrylic is used today. Anyone got any Kleenex, I mean facial tissue lol.

lol thanks I dont know either but this tank I bought is pretty cool Whatever material that its made of
