Pls. Help....Fish hemmoroids?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
no worries! i guess the food absorbs the water....and the epsom salt is like a laxative...so it soaks up the solution, makes it easier to eat...and gets the laxative where it has to go. thanks for your advice...can't wait to try it out.

oh okay, i get it.

can i keep that solution (4oz water & 2Tbsp) in a cup...and just reuse that solution everytime i feed? (i know after a while it'll get dirty.) do i have to keep on making a new solution everytime?? sorry for the dumb question...i just wanna be careful i don't do the wrong thing.

@pshtex...i just bought my water test kit. i think i'm gonna just keep on feeding everyone peas. i've gotta whole frozen bag of them ive gotta go thru and i hate peas!

i just gotta api master test kit, yay!! i just did the test...and my levels are looking good.

pH = 8.4
NH3/NH4 = 0
NO2 = 0
NO3 = 0

zero's all across the board. i haven't even done my water change yet. im gonna do it now as per water's instructions....and hopefully, things are alright. i'll just keep a close eye on them all.

zeros across the board isnt right. you should have nitrates

You could.. Just make sure you don't keep the solution for more than 24 hours. After that, mix a new one.

you're right...the nitrates should be up, cuz it's the last part. when i compared the colors to the chart...it was pretty close to 0, maybe it's not exactly yellow like the picture? i dunno.

@water, yeah...when i mixed some solution up and put the peas in there..it made it kinda mucky...i don't think there's any reason to hold on to it. i bought a big container of epsom salts anyways...it would take forever to go through it.

ok....ive been treating wit epsom salts. n it looks like its gotten worse....since 10 days ago. it looks like it spread to different areas...under the pelvic fins. i'll let the pictures speak for themselves. i took her out. i saw her doing...the T position to another fish? it looked like it.
