Wowie never seen Motoros like that..

Herpes?

"A clinical study among people who had 6 or more outbreaks a year found that over half of the people were outbreak-free after taking VALTREX for 6 months. After a year, over one-third were outbreak-free. Ask your healthcare provider if daily VALTREX is right for you."

Its known as motoro sp superspot in Asia. Some of the motoro we have here develop such spots as they mature. After a few generation of selective breeding, we get such rays.

Thanks for the insight!

Wonder if this is a wild caught version of what could turn into a 'SuperSpot'.. it is a well spotted Peru Motoro.

Dear Miles,

Your rays look at least 10 inch in size. Given that no fine spots are currently present, its unlike to developed into superspot. Most superspots develop at 8-10 inch. Grade a specimens show their spotting early at 5-6 inch.

However, most motoro, at least those that we have here, developed some fine spottings above 20 inch.

Dear Rochen,

Those rays were imported from Peru, and were about 8".. I was curious as to if they would develop more spotting in the future..

Keep in mind, these are wild rays and I am curious of where 'superspots' are collected, if at all, from the wild..?

Are they part of an "SP" breeding program, with Castexi? The tails of the rays you posted look like some castexi, no?

Thank you for your input!!

:D

Thanks for all your inputs, Ive learned some new stuff today!
I also agree with you Miles, I think she could be a cross with an otorongo and yes she is a super aggressive eater, she even go to the surface to gobble up floating koi pellets!
Thanks very much for your input Rochen28, now I know what to call her pups, superspots! She is currently bunking with a male motoro that has no superspots but has nice triple spots. Hope its gonna be a successfull marriage, fingers cross!
here is a picture of the male, and the second them together, and the third them playing doctor doctor! :)
