Just an update, He seems to be doing pretty well now. It is been over 12 hours since i first saw him on hi side. He is even back to chasing bass around. Ill still feel better once he eats.
went out to try and find prazipro or praziquantel but nowhere had it. I was also looking for other signs of an internal parasite but couldnt find any. Would something like Gill flukes cause this? As of now he is completely back to normal, i still havent attempted feeding him yet. Should i still try prazi? could it possibly be a secondary bacterial infection to be treated w/ maracyn 2? I dont want to medicate the tank unless it is needed.
Maybe you should try feeding him first before you decide to medicate. You might not need any medication. I used to raise Dats and sometimes Dats will just die without you knowing what happened. If you check out the Dat section, you will see others posting about it and calling it Dat disease, The Doctor.
I think it's all going to be of your own decision whether to treat for internal parasite first or to get back on feeding first. IMO I would wait to treat for internal parasite if he seems to be doing fine. But that is just me and no real backing behind that other than don't fix what ain't broke for right now/I don't know how much stress he would be under treating him with prazi this soon after all this.

He started showing interest in food again not awhole lot, but hes not ignoring it either. The only other thing ive noticed different in him is he is displaying more sensitvity to light which doesnt concern me that much. I did a quarter dose of prazi (which i finally found right here on base..lol) that im hoping will at least aid a him a little bit and serve as a precautionary measure without stressing him out. If he doesnt start eating again I may do a full dose if it becomes evident that is definitly an internal parasite.
Last update before i leave to Germany:
ST still seems OK, and hasnt had a convulsion since Thursday morning. He stills shows interest in food but hasnt eaten yet (that ive seen) He is still hiding alot, but does make his rounds once the lights are out.
I just hope he will be better once i get back from my trip.

Thanks Kevin, I just called the house, and the ST seems to be doing very well. My wife on the other hand is a little upset since i didnt ask how her and the kids were first..LOL.
As for Germany, I wish i had the time to check out some LFS and members but our schedule is pretty tight, this is the first chance ive had to even get on a computer. So hopefully today I'll be able to get out and see some stuff.
