Would you guys use non tempered glass? And does it have to be 1/2" like the other panels? I realize also the bottom panel may be thicker than 1/2" correct?
Definitely the same thickness but probably doesn't matter. If they drilled a hole in it, it's not tempered so no real reason to cover it with tempered material
