I mis-spoke when I said overflow, it is actually just a drain, just like a canister without the canister.
Each jet should have about 150 gph so it won't be over powering but it should provide plenty of power to keep most of the waste off of the substrate. On each side of the tank there will be a spray bar, each with about 900 gph of flow.
