I currently have UGJ running from my sump. All you need to do is drill a hole in your line leading into your tank from the sump. The hole needs to be high enough to create a siphon break (must allow air in to the pipe). Mine is about 1/4 inch above the water level when the pump is on.

And water doesnt spurt out of the hole?

Oh well anyways i'll probly just do the powerhead method, since i was trying to hide the pipes completely by plumbing throught the bottom of the tank. so if i were to go over the top of the tank and down i might as well just to the safer route and to the self contained jets.

thanks for all your help everyone.
