Plywood aquarium & acrylic help?

What is max act? Using rough sand paper I'm guessing? And from my understanding the Dow 795 does not harden like silicone so I don't understand that part and then someone told me to make a rubber gasket as well so the Dow 795 doesent all squish out. I am willing to do either or rather save cash and use acrylic that I have. Also does the dow leach anything into the aquarium?
Max acr. Autocorrect...Its as simple as I put it :) sand where the silicone is going, put the silicone on liberally, put the window in place, brace it and let it cure. Dow 795 has been in my tank for over 5 years with zero issues, it is aquarium safe.

Okay and did you use a gasket ? I might just rough up the acrylic and pond armoire and use silicone but if you advise Dow then prolly that.

The silicone is the gasket that seals the window.
Okay so just silicone will work then. I was talking about someone in a Fb group said to use Dow and make a gasket with rubber like a old inner tube so the Dow doesent squish out all the way on the sides of acrylic. But I'll prolly just sand on some of the acrylic and pond armoire and use silicone since that should work.

Curious if this worked. Trying to figure out how to install this acrylic window in my plywood tank now
