Plywood Tank 10ftx3ftx2.5ft

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
BRAVO!!! :clap

GReat Build!! And FAst Too!!! I guess my only comment is your overflow collector pipe being a little small. You might not be able to do a 4X water overturn with that size of collector pipe. but that will just be a minor pipe size adjustment. Like you said this was just your temporary filter and still very much open for improvement. Great tank!!.

Thanks Arl!

Yes I agree, the pipe work will need some work, I am waiting on a 12000 liter per hour pump to arrive, once I get it, I will try it out and see what mods I need for the overflow. I still have to build the trickle system for this tank with a larger sump etc.

When those plants fill in, that will be a KILLER TANK! Really nice aquascaping. Do you supply a carbon source or any other supplements for the plants? Will you have one major plant as trhe focal point?

If you are up to it, a picture every month taken from about the same place would be fun, at least for me anyway.

Thanks, yes I am looking at diy c02 system and will be using some Seachem products such as Flourish and Flourish Iron. No center plant, I just got a bit of timber (6ft long log) for the tank that I'll be putting in this weekend and then I'll re aquascape the tank and post some updates

Here's a couple of pics, a mate took the other night.
