Not all, Pond Armor is an Epoxy it has zero VOC. To be potable or fish safe you want an epoxy that has no VOC. Here are two I am looking at myself for my plywood build Aquapoxy TS-905 and AquataPoxy A-6 both are zero VOC. I'm leaning toward AquataPoxy A-6.
How many here har used polyester resins then coated with epoxy as a sealer ?
Johng has been talking with me about my future tank that I will be building like the two he used
He told me he had some problems with Mac acr curing in top of the polyester resin
I can do all epoxy resin but it would be nice to buy alot of polyester resin and do several thick layers since its cheaper if I can indeed go that route

I went with 3 layers of poly resin with Matt cloth, then sealing layer of epoxy resin(tinted green) in my 220 gallon ply tank. Worked like a charm and tank has been running 2.5 years with no problems.
