Thanks Jawbone,

I talked with Gorilla glue and they say that their product will adhere to acrylic if it is scuffed up first. They also say that it is completely waterproof when imersed. I was thinking of glueing my acrylic window into a plywood tank and then sealing it with silicone. Do you think this idea will work?

I've never tried this but that doesnt mean it wouldnt work. My concerns would be the silcone loosening at the edge of acrylic and the gorilla glue when cured is kinda like a foam. Ways acrylic have been put to plywood is by putting a wide layer of silicone under the glass on the plywood. This creates more of a gasket between the acrylic and plywood. Many have used this technique with great success.
