plywood thickness

if i used 18mm plywood i'd want to use external bracing too - that's a lot of water pressure, on something which isn't all that strong

I built my 400 out of 3/4" marine grade plywood with no external bracing..... Tank is 30" tall I just put screws every 2 inches apart and waterproof wood glue on the joints works perfectly fine and the plywood has zero bow or flex

ok so the piece of glass is 7.5ft x 2.4 ft 12mm it gunna have 3 to 4 icnhes of overlap and there will be some external bracing

anyone have a simple calculation on an 8x4 piece of ply and its strength with no bracing... from there u can figure out if u need thickness or bracing?? im in the process of building a steel frame but with ply inserts about 1300 gallons
