he is no where to be found in the tank... if he did get out, how far could he have gone? how long would he last? theres no signs of water anywhere...or scales. plz help =(

well he could have wiggled anywhere, they can't walk like popular tv tells you but they can live for some time out of water, i would check under everything in your house.
this once happened to my walking catfish. Check dark corners, underneath furniture, anywhere dark or secure. Some where snug. What really helped was i just kept thinking to my self if i was a atmoshperic fish and i fell out of my tank where would iwant to hide. Fure enough i found him near our plants in the corner.
ya snakeheads can live out of water for quite some time. they are very strong and hardy fish. I've heard that they sometimes wiggle out of their lake or river to catch prey or migrate to a near by one. IDK.
after we turned the entire appartment upside down...we found him in a corner, unfortunately dead =(
