I would suggest getting a divider, or making more hiding places for her to get away and hide...break the line of sight for them. LOTS of hiding places

they can breed at 2 inches, but i would give them time.

and i would not add any more fish..a 10 gallon is not very big for 2 convicts...and im pretty sure your male would just beat them up,

they will pare up on there own no need for other fish.
with cons

add male...add female..= babies!
 
What territory? I agree with the previous posters that 10g is too small even for 2 Convicts. I definitely wouldn't add anything else and think the divider sounds like a stellar idea.
 
It is definitely a male. Are you sure your other Convict is a female?

I also agree with the others, you need a bigger tank for them. I suggest a 40 gallon breeder,
but a 20 long would work too. A terracotta flowerpot works great as a cave for them.
 
Yea I'm all for dithers and targets, but a 10 gallon is out of the question. A 10 *may* be enough for a female con, but definitely not a male, and most certainly NOT a breeding pair.

Cons, especially males, grow at a good rate, and he'll outgrow that 10 in no time flat. They'll definitely be aggression in that small of a tank.
